HUMILITY

A strength in females,

A weakness in males,

This is what it is now-a-days,

Gendered.

Centuries back,

it was an asset everyone possessed,

Be it a Trojan war hero,

Or Mahabharata warrior.

Oh Mortal man,

“Thou shalt speak with humility,

Treat your brothers with kindness and respect”.

So spoke the God.

But now, O dear Aidos,

What happened to your blessing?

Art thou angry?

Or are you sad?

Why have you devoid us,

Of your love and blessings?

Or are we not capable enough,

To deserve it?

Have we fallen so much,

In our temptation?

That we have become empty vessels without any feelings.

Our greed has exceeded so much,

That we have forgotten softness of heart and pureness of soul.

Have we not then become a Satan,

Who tempted Eve using cunningness and humility?

Have we not become Shakuni,

planning the fall of others?

O Aidos! Your gift is powerful,

More than the strength of Zeus.

Because what you can melt,

Zeus cannot.

Oh Goddess, i beseech you,

To shower your blessings,

Upon each one of us,

To make our earth a second paradise.

Where everyone is full of kindness,

No one is sugar-coated candy but a candy full of sugars.

So that we can see,

The Golden Age once again.
